Carbide End Mills
Carbide milling cutter is a tool made of tungsten carbide(hard alloy, also known as tungsten-titanium alloy). Generally, it is used in CNC machining centers and CNC engraving machines. It can also be installed on ordinary milling machines to process some relatively hard and uncomplicated heat-treated materials.
According to the grain size, carbide is divided into normal carbide, fine-grained carbide and ultra-fine-grained carbide. Tungsten carbide-based include tungsten-cobalt (YG), tungsten-cobalt-titanium (YT) and rare carbide (YW). They have their own advantages and disadvantages.
There are several types end mills,
1.Standard carbide end mills, general diameter is from D1 to D20. Including 2,4,6 flutes carbide end mills, ball nose end mills, corner radius end mills.
2. Non-standard carbide end mills, with variable diameters, strange shapes, and various types, such as tungsten carbide micro end mills, long neck carbide end mills, etc.
