1. Process benchmark: The straight shank stepped drill bit has a relatively simple structure, and in the assembled working state, a long large diameter is used as the main positioning surface, so the large diameter axis can not only meet the functional requirements, but also be used in processing and inspection. Simulating benchmarks is easier;
2. Dimensional accuracy: The dimensional accuracy of large and small diameters (D, d) has an obvious effect on the aperture. If the diameter of the drill bit is out of tolerance, the machined hole must be out of tolerance. In the process, rough and fine grinding can be carried out to ensure that the diameter of the ground drill bit is ideal around the middle difference;
3. Positional accuracy: In order to avoid excessive hole diameter, when sharpening the drill bit, the reference axis should be used as the positioning benchmark, and corresponding fixtures should be made to ensure the process requirements;
4. Surface quality: Surface quality mainly refers to the condition of the surface layer of the drill bit, including surface roughness and surface hardness. If it does not meet the requirements, it will affect the wear resistance, fatigue strength and corrosion resistance of the tool.
